Since I was a child I absolutely loved dying Easter Eggs the night before Easter and then hiding then Easter Sunday after Sunday lunch at my Mamaws and finding them. This is a tradition I will always have fond memories of and was so excited to pass on to Ainsley. She seemed to enjoy dying the eggs and though we did not "hide" the eggs she enjoyed picking the eggs up that were in the yard and putting them in her basket.
We would like this blog to encapsulate exactly what the title refers to. The "memoirs", the memories, the observations and the life experiences that occur at Burke Manor. Why Burke Manor, you ask? Anytime someone new would come to visit our home Josh would always say, "welcome to Burke Manor". It just sort of stuck so now we have, "The Memoirs of Burke Manor".

The tradition passed on
